Summary: In the time of Edowill's greatest peril, a Prophet will emerge to seize control of fate's wheel. This Prophet have the power to either save Edowill or destroy it.

The continent of Edowill is in a time of change, and Fate’s Wheel is now spinning faster than ever before. The Adrevian Empire is expanding like a shadow over Edowill, spreading war and fire. Before long, Adrevia has gained control of all of Edowill but for two countries: the icy and mountainous Travasia in the far North, and the heavily forested Olovia and in the East.

But there is a threat even greater than the Adrevian Empire, and only The Prophet knows of the blood-red sails that push the thousands of warships through the churning Grey Sea towards a war-splintered Edowill. Unity must be achieved, but at what price? This is the story of a world in change, a time when anything could happen, when the smallest actions can change the course of history. These are characters from a new generation morphed by power, torn apart by violence, and choosing between love and duty.

Summary: What is truly evil? The death of Lorenzo de' Medici has sent Florence of the late 1400's into turmoil. Religious fervor and a population's terror ferment as one girl, imprisoned by her family's vanity, discovers more about herself and her brothers than she should. The result is dangerous.



This is a short story I wrote, set in Florence after the death of Lorenzo de' Medici (late 1400's.) A lot of research and effort went into this piece, so I'd really appreciate some feedback. This was written as part of a project to examine sibling relationships, so be sure to check out "Clara," another short story I've written as part of the same project.
