Oh, don't put yourself down. I very rarely read Third Age fics myself, and any I do are rec'd by me, but I much prefer the Elder Days and the future; beyond which Tolkien's writings did not go. To me, it is full of potential.
Any rites attending Eldarion's ascension to the throne be a huge occasion, filled with gravity and I also think he would be attended by lords of the city rather than riding alone; kings are bound by ceremony, after all. That would be my only concrit for you, to make it seem grander and more dramatic. I believe Eldarion's reign would have been longer than his father's (only my own opinion) and that he would have made the Re-united kingdom larger, and it would be a golden reign. (sorry, I write a bit of it myself and got carried away there)
But keep going, as you are one of the very, very few who dare to step out of the stories we know into unchartered territories, and I love to see that.
Take care and happy writing
Author's Response: I see what you mean and I agree. Especially being this is very shortly after Aragorn's burial and Eldarion's of course, expected to take up the throne. I figured Aragorn, being the first High King in a loooong time, I figured he'd be buried somewhere within the citadel, so I went with that :).
