Very interesting perspective on this relationship. It's true that Celeborn seems to stand in Galadriel's shadow, but mostly when I read about the couple in the books I was glad that there is this one strong female character, with power and wisdom. I think the boundaries the ring set on her weren't easy to bear for either of them.

We can experience Galadriel's release of her burdens through this fic, as well as how difficult it was for her to remain always in control, always guarded. You allow us to feel said burdens in your words, and Celeborn's feelings for her are portrayed subtle yet intense. Great work. I really enjoyed it.

Very nice picture of their relationship! There would be fascinating power issues between them, wouldn't there? I've always liked the throwaway tragedy of Celeborn's last line in the Lord of the Rings, and you addressed it excellently.
