very good chapter. "Woodpecker" hee hee hee. funny. about your question, I think you could have romance as long as you don't make aniel perfect. The thing with mary-sues, they're perfect and they usually fall in love, ending being happily married, ect. Now, let's say if they got attacked going to rivendell, aniel shouldn't just pick up a sword and start killing. i don't think she knows how to wield a weapon. if you want her to fight, then have a few chapters where legolas and/or aragorn teach her the ways of war. if you have anymore questions, because i have an idea but not the whole picture, i suggest you post a question or e-mail the web-master. i did that and got a better view of this site.

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked :D Yep, Aniel def isn't perfect and you are right she can't fight to save her life. Okay, since the romance bits are already written I'll keep them in there. If its too nausiating for people I guess they'll have to stop reading (if anyone else is still reading). Thx for your review :)

eee. The Exiles! I wonder where they were exiled to? It must a long ways away fro gondor and harad, right?

Author's Response: Weird thing is, Tolkien did have a group of elves he called "The Exiles" which I didn't know about when I started this. Except that they were Noldor and mine are Avari, a different race. The last time I read the Silmarilion (think it's covered there?) was in 1987 or something...Anyways....I've placed the Avari floating around south of Harad...since they never went to Valinor like the other races. I don't think it's specified where they are meant to be, so I put them there. They were too cowardly to help out in the War of the Ring, (which they must have known about?) But now that Sauron is defeated, they've decided to come North. And claim it, who knows lol. Have to wait and see! Sorry about rambling! I might change the name of this to Elven Exiles....hmm.
