Hello there!
My penname is Buckleberry, after the 'Bucklebury Ferry' in the Shire (I know I misspelt it, but I like it like that!). I ABSOLUTELY ADORE LOTR, and I love to write lotr fanfiction.
Story Updates: "Lalaith's Lament" is now here! It's another poem which continues on the theme of a last elf in Middle Earth. It is written in the voice of the elf, who is standing at the Harbour looking out over the sea, having vowed a long time ago to remain in her homeland. Although she stands by her decision, she is sorrowful that she may never see her people again.
*Please review my stories! I love to hear from all of you, so any comments, tips, or even constructive criticism is welcome! :)*
Have a good day!
I agree with Tathrin, it's a beautiful story. I love the way you portrayed Legolas. This is going on my favourites list, keep up the good work!
Author's Response: Thank you very much. I\'m very pleased that you liked it. I love Legolas as an elfling, so I try hard to make him believable. Glad you like my version. What an honor. Thanks.
That was absolutely fantastic, and as beautiful as everyone says. I love the way you have brought out the true nature of Thranduil like that, as a lot of people think that he is too strict and does not feel much sadness.
I'm so glad I have read this poem - you'll be on my list of favourite authors!
Those are so good! *laughs hysterically*
Another one might be to persuade him to get insurance with Eye and dental care :D
Author's Response: omg that\'s hilarious! eye and dental care...that really cracked me up
I love this story! It's quite hard to find a nice romance that isn't filled with very adulty scenes.
Keep up the good work - I can't wait for you to continue the story! :)
Please update soon, this story and its characters are beautiful. You are one of the most brilliant writers I have ever come across. I hope Book 2 comes out soon. The long wait is killing me, please update! Please!
That's a really good story so far. I cannot wait for the next chapter. Keep writing! :)
Author's Response: Thanks!
Great poem! I love that scene.
Please write some more poems like that!
(And, just a quick note, I think it should be 'love' and not 'live' on the second-last line!)
Author's Response: Thanks, I really like that scene too and I just had to write it. And I plan on making more. And thanks for o not i. I guess I should look at my poems more.
That was a really nice read - short and sweet. You use excellent wording. Thanks for posting it!
An amazing piece so far, you are a very talented writer. You portrayed the twins exactly how I imagined them!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for reviewing! I have a particular passion ( some might say obsession) for the twins and Im glad to know that you have enjoyed my portrayal of them so far.
As xFanarix said, it's so hard for an immortal to love a mortal knowing that they will have to make so many sacrifices. That Elladan and Elrohir were willing to make the sacrifice and care for Aragorn as a brother really touches me. You portrayed the twins exactly as I imagined them.
This is so good for a first piece, I would be so proud if I could write like this. Keep up the good work!
Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing, Buckleberry. Im glad that you enjoyed my portrayal of the twins. There will be more stories involving the twins to come and I would love to hear what you think!
That's very good. You have a talent for poetry :)
Author's Response: Thankyou
