That was really sweet! Sam is my all time favorite character because of his undying care and love for Frodo. This was an excellent piece of fiction, I look forward to reading more of your stories. Congrats on your first story!
Author's Response: Well, thanks! I\'ve always loved Sam, and the early Shire-period (early as in LotR childhood early) fascinates me. Right now, I\'ve got a multi-chapter fic in the works that features Sam, a one-shot AU about Frodo finding a way to stay in the Shire (and Sam is pretty predominate in that one, though he\'s not a character...yeah, figure that out!), and a crack-tastic Torchwood/LotR crossover. Hopefully, I\'ll get some finished soon!
That was really good! I enjoy theater very much and found this to be cute. How fun to be Elrond too, I'm sure that was an interesting experience! Amazing work!
Author's Response: Thanks! Yeah, it was really fun to be Elrond. I got to act cranky all the time and yell like a maniac. Can\'t beat that... lol. Anyway, we really enjoyed ourselves. (I think our teacher thought we were craaaaazy, but at least she had to be the narrator... hehe.) Thanks again for the nice review.
That was really beautiful! It portrayed the innocence of youth very well also. Nice work!
Author's Response: Thankyou so much!
I really enjoyed this story. Having spent quite a portion of my life visiting loved ones in positions similar to the one this lady is in, I feel an undeniable connection.
I look forward to seeing more of your work!
That was sweet. I love reading about Estel's early years and you captured his spirit well. I also admire the way you portrayed Elrond, as he can come off as being cold in a lot of fics. Scribe and I have talked a little bit about you and I am willing to help you in whatever way I can, though I'm not sure what it is that you would like for me to do. If you could email me through the site, that would be fabulous, as I check email more often than I do my fanfiction account. I am busy, but I am more than willing to fit you into my schedule! : )
Waiting to hear from you,
Author's Response: I am so touched that you would change a part of your schedule for me! Thank you so much. And I'm happy and surprised that Scribe and you are talking about me. He seems like a very nice guy and I'm glad I'm getting to be his friend. Um, if you could be a beta reader, that would be great. I have to figure out how I'm going to get my stories to you, though. Maybe I could send them through a review spot to you. (I tend to ramble *Smiles*) Talk to you later.
About sending me your work, it would seem to be a better situation if you could send it to my email through the website. If you don't know how to do that, I can tell you. The problems with posting it in a review would be that a, everyone would see it, and b, it takes up a lot of space in the review pane. I also wanted you to know that I do not read or beta things over the PG-13 rating or that contain slash/mpreg/erotica/anything else of that sort. As long as your work meets those reqiurements, I'd be happy to see what I can do for you!
Have a wonderful day,
Author's Response: I know about the review thing. *smacks forehead* Duh! Sometimes I'm the most stupid person I know. Anyway, could you tell me about e-mailing through the website? If I was writing anything over PG-13, it would be for torture, never language or sex or anything like that. I hate stories where the only thing going for them is the above. I'm glad that we are able to form some kind of inner community of people who care deeply about Middle-earth as Tolkien intended it, not like others. I'm not trying to flame but it gets pretty annoying when you check out the Story of the Moment and all you see is sex and slash. Anyway, you should check out I am an Elf, she's hilarious! Thanks again for helping me. I will have some stories coming to you soon. Namarie, and may Eru keep you well.
Hello, Shadow Maiden! About sending me an email through the site, it's really simple. All you have to do is go to my profile and right at the top, by my penname, it has the option "Contact". You can shoot me a message using that. It will send the message to my email, which I check daily. Once I have your email, we can just communicate through that and not have to use the site at all. I tried about a month ago to email through the site about helping you, but you must not have gotten it for one reason or another (computers are so touchy sometimes!), I should also warn you that my email account is under another name, just so you know. I look forward to hearing from you and if for some reason, emailing doesn't work, we can try something else. : )
Wishing you a wonderful day,
